Booking & Cancellation Policy
1. Booking Deposits
To secure any appointment, a valid credit card is required at the time of booking.
For all new hair extension installations and custom services:
A non-refundable booking retainer of $100 is required.
Extension hair payments are 100% prepaid and final sale once ordered or prepared.
Your retainer is applied toward your final balance on the day of the appointment, as long as the cancellation policy below is respected.
Clients may reschedule one time only without losing the retainer (with proper notice). Any additional rescheduling will require full prepayment of the service.
2. Consultation Policy
Online Estimate – Complimentary
Online estimates are free of charge and ideal for initial assessments, quotes, and determining suitability for extensions.
In-Person Consultation – $50
A non-refundable $50 consultation fee is required to book your in-studio consultation.
This fee is credited toward your extension installation.
If you cancel or no-show your consultation, the fee is forfeited.
3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Hair extension appointments require a significant block of studio time reserved exclusively for you. For this reason:
Required Notice
A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule any appointment.
Late Cancellation Fee (less than 48 hours)
Cancellations or rescheduling made inside the 48-hour window will result in a 50% charge of the services booked.
No-Show Fee
A no-show will result in a 100% charge of the services booked.
Any retainers already paid are forfeited.
Future appointments will require full prepayment.
Rescheduling Limit
You may reschedule one time with proper notice.
Any additional rescheduling will require prepayment in full to secure the appointment.
4. Late Arrival Policy
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
A 15-minute grace period is offered.
Arriving 15+ minutes late may require modifying or shortening your service while the full fee still applies.
If your lateness affects the timing of the next client, your appointment may need to be rescheduled and treated as a late cancellation, resulting in a 50% fee.
5. Hair Purchases (Final Sale)
All extension hair is custom-ordered, prepared, coloured, or bonded specifically for each client.
Hair purchases are the final sale.
Hair payments are non-refundable and non-transferable once ordered.
6. Quality & Adjustment Window
If you require an adjustment after your installation:
If you are not satisfied with your hair extensions transformation, please contact the studio within 48 hours after your appointment.
Quick fixes within this 14-day window are complimentary when the appointment is attended as booked.
If you no-show or late cancel your quick-fix appointment:
That complimentary adjustment is forfeited.
The next adjustment will be charged at a regular price.
Quick-fix appointments cannot be rescheduled if missed.
7. Maintenance & Follow-Up Appointments
Extension maintenance is typically needed every 6-12 weeks depending on your natural hair and extension method.
Maintenance appointments are subject to the same cancellation, lateness, and no-show policies.
If you require removal of previous extensions, this must be booked and paid for separately unless otherwise quoted.
8. Preparing for Your Appointment
To ensure the best result:
Arrive with hair clean, completely dry, and fully detangled.
Avoid heavy oils, leave-in conditioners, masks, or styling creams.
If you arrive with unwashed, wet, tangled hair, or with extensions that require removal when a removal was not booked, additional fees may apply or your appointment may need to be rescheduled with a late-cancellation charge.
9. Payment, Pricing & Taxes
All prices are subject to GST.
Pricing may vary depending on the amount of hair, length, density, and time required.
Payment methods accepted: credit card, debit, e-transfer, cash.
All retainors, services, and hair purchases are non-refundable.
By booking, you authorize Confide Hair to charge your card for any late-cancellation or no-show fees as outlined above.
