The amount depends on your desired length, fullness, and natural density.

• Fine hair may require fewer strands for an even blend
• Medium to thick hair may need additional weight for balance
• Full transformations require more than volume only installs

Proper care ensures long lasting wear. This includes washing with extension safe products, drying bonds thoroughly, brushing daily with the correct brush, avoiding heavy conditioners near the roots, and following recommended maintenance timelines. For quality and consistency, Confide Hair only works with professional grade hair sourced through trusted suppliers. This ensures a perfect match, proper cuticle alignment, and safe installation. For this reason, I generally do not work with outside hair.

However, in rare cases, I may make an exception.

Any hair you provide must first be approved by Lana.

This includes performing a quality test to ensure the extensions meet my standards for safety, durability, and performance.

Please note:

• A “bring your own hair” fee will apply.

Using my in-house hair ensures consistency, longevity, and the flawless results my clients expect.

If you’re unsure whether your hair is suitable, you’re welcome to bring it for evaluation.

Some products work, but many contain oils, silicones, or ingredients that weaken bonds. You’ll be guided on what is safe to use, including shampoos, conditioners, heat protectants, and styling creams that support longevity.

Yes. Removal requires specialized tools and gentle techniques to protect your natural hair and safely detach the keratin bonds, tape or bead.

Pricing for removal is $100 per hour, the price of removal is included in the maintenance service cost.

If you have concerns, contact the studio within 48 hours. Adjustments can often be made to improve comfort, blending, or styling.

Hair extensions are a custom service, and refunds are not available once hair has been opened, installed, or used.

Keratin bond (K Tip) extensions typically last 8 to 12 weeks before maintenance.  Some clients are able to wear their extensions for up to five months, while others may require a removal a bit sooner.

Tape In, Nano Bead, I Tip, and Bio Tape extensions generally require upkeep every 6 to 8 weeks. but the exact timing depends on several personal factors:

• The strength and density of your natural hair

• Your individual hair growth cycle

• Your aftercare routine

During your consultation, I will assess your hair and give you a clear, personalized estimate of how long your extensions will last on you specifically.

With proper care, the hair itself can often be reused multiple times depending on the method.

Yes, when the correct method is chosen.

Clients experiencing thinning from perimenopause, menopause, postpartum changes, or mild medical hair loss often achieve excellent results with refined or micro bond K Tips, Nano Beads, or Bio Tape. A consultation will determine the safest option.

We do offer a referral program, both the existing client and the new client receive a $50 credit that can be used toward hair products available at the salon.
